The Law of Christ and the Law of Moses which should Christians obey?

The issue of the Law is sometimes confusing for Christians and I have to admit I have found this subject difficult in my personel life as a follower of Christ.
I believe as Christians we are so eager to do what's right we often forget that doing is not always by the Spirit but out of our uncertanty to know what laws we are to obey. Jesus said "if you love me obey my commanments" so our fleshly mind says OK let me look at the 10 commandments to make sure I am being obedient. But Jesus did not mean the 10 He meant Love. How many laws is that? Love means laying down your life, it has to be a work of the Spirit.  In order for those in Christ to walk in faith and live by faith we must be in Christ and He in us.  We must understand that it is He who has begun the work and will bring it to completion in the day of Christ.
So what is the law Christians must live by? What does it look like? How do we do it?

Matthew 22:36-40: Says “ Then a lawyer asked our Lord Jesus, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” Jesus' answer: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law and the Prophets.”

To those in the Body of Christ we are to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ". Gal6:2

How ever hard it seems as Christians we are to simply follow Christ. Love up, Love across that's it.
This can only be done by Christ's Spirit who is in us. This will include laying down our life and living a holy life.
